Toyota Corolla
The Toyota Corolla has not been redesigned for a couple of years now, but that does not mean that it is stale. When Toyota redesigned this car they took a lot of factors into play. The most important one being that they needed to market the car towards a younger generation. They found that the younger drivers in the world are the ones that would be most prone to purchasing the car. And boy did they ever hit the nail on the head.
The main reason that the Toyota Corolla has been so popular is that it beat the Honda Civic to the punch. When Toyota redesigned the Corolla they passed up the Civic which was standing still at the time. Even though Honda has recently redone the Civic, the Corolla got the jump on them from the very beginning.
One of the biggest advantages of the Toyota Corolla is the interior. For a small car, the Corolla offers plenty of room. To take this a bit further, it is one of the best looking interiors in this segment as well. The large gauges give it a sporty look, and options such as a sun roof make it appealing to the younger crowd.
The Toyota Corolla may not be the biggest or the fastest car in the industry, but the benefits that it offers are hard to match. This version of the Corolla will probably be around for another year or so, and then Toyota will move forward with another redesign.
